You can play songs and/or patterns. I use a DC 9 volt power supply. Boss DR-110 Dr. Rhythm Graphic Vintage Analog Drum Machine in GREAT WORKING CONDITION.

You can tap write too. I no longer have the manual. You can also play the drum kit pieces live. You can find a PDF of the manual online.

I forget how many measures you can write per song. It can run on AA batteries, however, I have never tried to it batteries. I am the original owner. I plug this into my PA with a standard 1/4 mono guitar cable all the time to keep beat when practice without rest of band.

You can write in 4/4 or 3/4 time. The case is included. I think there are sixteen pre-programmed patterns. The power supply is not included.

The case is a little dirty, has some paint on it, and scuff marks.
