I recently sold my late 50s Leedy lighter blue sparkle drums this tom matched them. The good news is that if you were to use a diamond plate in future it will hide two holes from original mount.

Up for offer today is a 1960s vintage Leedy 12 x 8 inch rack tom drum in used condition. The hardware can be purchased here on for around there are a few scratches but will not visible from an audience member. This drum does not include any hardware or heads. Shipping handling hole spacing on the lugs is inch.

This drum should have had the blue Leedy badge with Chicago 48 on it, which is also confirmed by darker version of sparkle under lugs at top bottom. Thankfully these darker versions fade nicely to the lighter blue sparkle Leeds from late 50's. My home is a smoke pet free. This 60 year old beautiful blue sparkle tom has 6 lugs per side is made of 3ply african mahogany poplar wood.

The drum originally had a two screw tom mount see offer titled 1960s slingerland radio king clip bass: vintage lot032 for reference later diamond plate was added hoops, 50 lugs tension rods. This Leedy drum is from the era of slingerland ownership confirmed by lug indentations on shell, black ink interior. 77 in lower 48. Condition: the drum is in round or not warped, modern heads spin on both sides.
