The CY-14C-SV has been discontinued so you can't find one new. The paint does tend to wear off on front edge, which is case with this cymbal, but there no excessive. Edge trigger is louder, but triggers the bow sound.

You can also pickup to avoid shipping charges if re in the Louisville area. Output volume of the bow trigger is lower than it should be. I have two of these cymbals that perform identically, so can only assume the problems exhibited by both are defective jack boards.
