I use the other pads and write kick drum parts with whatever pad plug into position so don't really need it. This kick drum was probably used 3 times for less than 10 minutes. It uses a common 1/4 inch out connection that will work with most brand name drum modules however is up to you sort ahead of time. I'm not really a drummer so I just write beats with the pads using midi on multiple tracks.
