You are buying on a uses electronic drum set which is battery operated. This is pretty much a child's toy, with light up cells at each end of the toms and cymbals.
But I will bid you good luck. If you give it to your kid and wind up smashing it later. There is and earphone option highly recommended and a jack for recording.
