I have done limit research the wrap reminds me of black pearl but also seen this color referred to as abalone. Not sure if this is a Keller or Dw shell there are maple reinforcements ring. To me it looks original but could also be a re wrap. The wrap looks nice and color pops however there is a small tear in check picture 5 as well some shrinkage at seam where overlaps.
OK I purchase this Dw 2006 collector series floor tom with some other non matching drums. I do know some products from manufacturers had problems with shrinkage as well brittle. Luckily it is only noticeable at bottom near the rim.
The drum tune up great especially at low levels for that fat sound. The chrome hardware is in great condition little to no pitting all original Dw parts like rims, mounts and floor legs etc.
