As many as four people have played the drum simultaneously. The idea here is that the regular drum head acts as a resonator for the wood head and vice versa. This is a custom made drum that has a wood drum head on one side maple and a conventional drum head on the other side. The mud drum sits in a custom wood cradle with casters so that it is easy to move around.

Everything is handmade, painted and one of a kind. The drum on one side has a handle that pulls out freeing the drum so that you can make the drum vertical or horizontal. The drum is 28 wide by 8 deep with a maple shell finished with a golden oak stain.
