All the pattern selection levers are immediately responsive and volume knob is not scratchy at. Again, the issues are audible, but at a low level in relation to drums themselves. One thing to remember is that the volume knob needs be pulled out toward you in order for patterns audible.

When I first got this machine, thought it was broken, but wan t. I also hear some low levels and pops that occur along with the rhythm. The tempo knob and downbeat light both work, as does power.

With a little TLC, this Gulbransen teeny bopper would make an excellent addition to your classic drum machine collection. Theres some hum in the background of audio. I have heard this type of thing on other drum machines and it seems to be related the analog sequencer bleeding through.

I do hear some audio artifacts during pattern playback, but don't have any other experiences with this model of drum machine to compare it to, so know ifs unusual. My impression is that the unit in need of a tuneup. Its much lower than the drum sounds, but there.
