It should come as no surprise that this is a sweet sounding drum. The shell has a few very small 1-2mm. First, when I got it a year or 2 ago and again in may of the chrome is clean shiny. The nicks are so small that they cannot be seen once you're more than 5 feet away.

Early to mid - 90's, made in japan, 16 x, rare red stain, Yamaha maple custom floor tom good condition. Everything that is supposed to be flat or straight. The non-original replacement rods are a little too long and require few easy turns with key to tighten last but, all lug threads smooth functional. Attack 2-ply med thin clear batter and borzoi 1-ply resonant.

However, from close-up this drum has more than its share of patina as well a couple non-original parts. A couple of the pictures I provided seem to show 2 nicks above and little left badge but, lower these isn't Nick reflection. It has non-original hoops and tension rods on replacement resonant hoop legs. I'm selling this drum in as is condition.

I waxed the clear coat using a microfiber applicator mothers Catawba wax. So, I cleaned and polished this thing to death. Nothing is bent. Overall its in great shape for 25 years of age and having been neglected god knows how long.

The clear coat is intact and clean. As of now, it has brand new Gibraltar legs and attack heads. The outside face of all tension lugs had been scratched before I purchased drum but again, can't really be seen from a distance. The rims are clean and flat.

All tension rods are clean and straight. All lug threads are smooth. I mean its a yam maple custom that has no major problems as far i've found and the pictures show, taken it apart all but completely. The inside of shell is pristine as it should be.

When I purchased this drum it had been neglected, was grimy and in need of some TLC. All the toms metal rims, lugs, tension rods, washers was cleaned and polished using monster microfiber cloths wrights brass polish. These are the only 3 things that could possibly be considered major but, I certainly don't think so. Nicks that penetrated the clear coat but, can only be seen if you're really up on it at which point you see tons of stuff I wan't about to risk buffing out.
