Refining the legendary RC with Steve gads 'for past 3 years i've been meeting research and development guys at Yamaha aim of bringing recording custom series up to date. Suitable for any of drumming in all situations.

The shells have a wide tuning range, respond well to different head choices and are easy tune. Lifted bass drum Steve prefers a 20 inch drum, so we adopted this specification. Yamaha recording custom tom 10x7 classic walnut - RBT-1007WLN working with the legendary artist Steve gads, have elevated iconic series new design elements, producing a refined focused sound enhanced rounded and deeper tone. The bass drum has a nice fat sound, responds to different heads on it, and my goal was have simple snare design that could respond wide range of tuning.

All north American birch 6 ply shells with 30 degree bearing edges are complimented by the re designed hi tension lug that is weighted to enhance lower frequencies.

I told Yamaha what thought throughout the process, result is that everything a step up. The result is an easy-to-use and easy-to-tune drum set that re-defines classic signature sound. New weighted high tension lugs the revamped modern design retains traditional essence of recording custom.

My take on it recommendations Yamaha has surpassed themselves with the new RC line. They still feel like the recording custom, when you take them out of box don't new, comfortable and I think that's good. The unique sonic characteristics of birch wood ensure that each stroke is clearly delineated, making it widely considered to be ideal choice for recording environments. This ensures optimum sustain for the core sound, producing a crisp, articulate tone.

This lifted bass drum produces a more punchy sound and accentuates the produced in core of shell.
