Its in perfect shape now. So its time to move onto other projects. I do not know how they came to me because that was a while ago.

I bought this and was considering painting it piano black to match the rest of my kit. As the size of bass drums increase, so does amount mahogany. Our 18 and 20 bass drums use 4 inner thin plies of mahogany with 2 outer maple. These holders stick out significantly and it only take the carrier to drop box wrong way damage shell permanently.

Easy enough. The 14 toms and larger begin using our fully rounded bearing edge for even more shell contact. There are two screws each.

Which is oversized. These require an over sized box to handle both the drum and legs or two boxes. Ready to go. It could use a light cleaning to make glisten.

But time and money says no. All I know those legs will not fit into the drum box.

It does have finger prints and dust on. I will take this precaution during packing the drum. Our 22 and 24 bass drums incorporate an amazing 6 inner thin plies of mahogany surrounded by 2 outer maple for the ultimate in solid responsive frequencies. That's what its going to take not mess around.

So I packed everything into a 18x18x24 box. The 14''x12 has longer legs than floor toms.
