I just replaced the internal battery. The cons the value slider doesn't work very well it may be dirty, or the slider may be crapping out.
but it seems like the sort of thing I should disclose. Reset to original factory settings. It doesn't effect the use of the unit I just set it to the top or the bottom of the slide and leave it there I didn't find it that useful even when it worked well.
