It is a discontinued, made in japan model.

The drum has a new, unplaced played REM clear ambassador batter head, and the original stock Yamaha by REM resonant head, which is in excellent condition. Any apparent marks seen in the pictures are due to reflections off the high gloss finish, or dust. This drum sounds as good as it looks. The interior of the shell is factory finished in cherrywood stain.

The yeas mount works perfectly. All tension rods and washers are original. The tom is 8x8, with a cherrywood lacquer finish. The shell has some very minor cosmetic blemishes in the form of scuffs.

Yamaha recording custom 8 tom model TT908Y serial pl 4690 this is a Yamaha recording custom tom in excellent condition. I was unable to capture these in the pictures. The interior of the shell and the bearing edges are flawless. Shipping is via ups ground service.

All chrome is excellent with no rust.
